The new OPPO ColorOS 12 Beta system, which is based on Android 12, was introduced in China last month, but the company has now shared plans for its international launch, including estimated dates and models that can be applied to the first beta, which is already available.
ColorOS 12 beta is compatible with OPPO smartphones in India.
Several OPPO smartphones will be able to access the ColorOS beta program, some of which will be available in Mexico, to test the new operating system’s improvements ahead of time:
According to the official list shared by OPPO, the Reno6 5G will be the first device in Mexico to receive the ColorOS 12 beta in November. As a result, the Reno5 Lite, Reno5 Z 5G, and Find X2 Neo will be able to participate in the beta in the first half of 2022, while the small OPPO A53 will have to wait until the second half of next year.

How to enable Colors OS 12 Beta
Those interested in participating in the ColorOS 12 beta program must enlist by following a few simple steps:
Navigate to Settings> Software Update.
Select Trial version> Beta version from the menu in the upper right corner.
Fill out the form and click the Apply button now.
Features
In terms of new features, ColorOS 12 incorporates the general lines of Android 12, but with a touch of its own personality, simplifying its interface to offer a more orderly environment with simpler icons, according to the company. Furthermore, there are improvements in contrast, with new color nuances to make the text in the interface easier to read.

Along with simplified icons, OPPO has added new animations that are more fluid as a result of the company’s “quantum animation engine,” according to the company. ColorOS transitions, in short, will be more realistic and fluid than ColorOS 11, your current system.

ColorOS 12 has also improved user data privacy and security, thanks to the new default functions included in Android 12. When apps use features like the camera, microphone, or location services, the system will now notify you. Another important feature is that ColorOS will allow you to delete the information from shared photos.
Emojis, ColorOS 12’s new animated emojis, are also included. Emojis are created in the purest iOS style by capturing the user’s face for greater customization.

Finally, ColorOS 12 now shares the same source code as OnePlus’ OxygenOS 12, though each has its own set of features. The reason for this is that OnePlus, as a sub-brand, now shares the development team with OPPO in order to better leverage OPPO’s resources and provide faster updates.
