WhatsApp Companion Mode
WhatsApp is developing a new feature called WhatsApp Companion Mode. This new feature allows you to synchronise your chat history across multiple devices. WhatsApp, like Telegram, allows users to use the app on multiple devices at the same time.
According to WABetaInfo, the companion mode has appeared as a pop-up indicator on the beta version of WhatsApp Android version 2.22.15.13. WABetaInfo shared a screenshot of WhatsApp syncing chat history with a connected device.
The Advantages of WhatsApp Companion Mode
WhatsApp is used by everyone. Almost everyone uses WhatsApp to communicate or work. Because users interact with various devices throughout the day, WhatsApp must support all types of devices. As of now, it is not possible to use any of your accounts on any phone other than your phone; WhatsApp sends notifications and you can only use WhatsApp on one phone; however, the upcoming companion mode will solve this problem and you will be able to run the same WhatsApp account on two phones at the same time. This new feature can also sync chat history.
